Today's painting tackles impending summertime doom
Well, Summer is on it's way, for those of us in Arizona, that means a face melting heat will soon bear down upon us like the 'Lone Biker of the Apocalypse'...
I can see this mountain from my house, btw
Yeah, we've already hit 100° F so far this year. To combat the onslaught of thermal brutality soon to come, my wife has picked up a few watermelons. Luckily for me, I was able to paint one before it's consumption.
As you can see in the video, I wasn't too pleased with the green, I kept painting it again and again, slapping new layers in order to keep getting it as dark as I wanted. Overall, the end result turned out well. I enjoyed this one and should definitely paint more watermelons as the summer necessitates them!
